In the heart of Adams Morgan | Vintage Charm

This property was ideal for our family of 4, including 2 teenagers. The best part was the charming neighborhood location which was ideal for visiting all the sights in Washington, D.C. We used the Metro system every day which was an easy 7-10 minute, picturesque walk from the apartment. We felt safe walking back at night (9:00-10:00 p.m.) from the metro.The bathroom and kitchen are smaller than what many are probably used to, but they are exactly the size you'd expect in an historic home, and were perfectly functional and adequate for our family. As expected, parking is difficult in these neighborhoods. We were able to use the parking space behind the apartment for an additional fee. (Note: there is no access to the apartment from the parking space; you need to walk around to the front). We rarely needed our vehicle as we used public transportation, but just a heads-up that if you have a larger truck/SUV, the provided space is very tight if a car is in the space next to it. Overall this was a great stay all around and we would book this property again.

Stairs to the upstairs bedrooms are very steep and narrow. No bathroom upstairs.

Our apartment was very clean and comfortable. Communication was timely and clear. The location was fantastic. We were able to walk to restaurants, grocery, bakery, ice cream shop, etc. Monuments, memorials, and museums were just a quick Uber away. We would gladly stay here again when traveling to DC.
