Massive Mountain Retreat | 12 Mi to Asheville

Our two families settled in perfectly for our week vacation in WNC. The layout of the house gave way to privacy between the families (when needed) as one family arose much earlier than the other. Both floors have four access doors to the expansive decks with a 180 degree view of nine peaks in Pisgah NF. Watching the weather roll in and out for seven days was magical! Doug was an exceptional host and communicator. The house was clean and well stocked. The decor is simple and classy. We couldn’t have asked for a better location to launch from to head out on our daily adventures to swimming holes, shopping, dining, and exploring. The house is secure and kept a great interior temperature on both floors (and the bonus bedroom/apartment over the garage). Lastly, the ping pong table played a crucial role in our double elimination, 8-person bracket tournament during our “stay home” day mid-week! Just perfect! I strongly recommend this house for multi-family gatherings.

This is a wonderful property with lovely views of the rolling hills. Quite possibly the most comfortable beds of any rental we have experienced! The home has a well-stocked kitchen, and the hosts were lovely and receptive. Note that it can be rented as separate units and has two complete living spaces and kitchens. For our single group we really only used the upstairs common areas. We had a great time!

Our group had the most amazing stay at this property in Asheville! From the moment we walked in, we were all in shock at how beautiful it was. The entire home was spotless and decorated so tastefully—classy, cozy, and welcoming all at once. Each bedroom was huge and incredibly spacious, giving everyone plenty of room to relax and feel comfortable. The common areas were perfect for gathering, and the view from the house was absolutely breathtaking—it truly felt like something out of a postcard.What really made our stay even better was the owners. They went above and beyond to make us feel taken care of. Every time I had a question, they responded so quickly and were unbelievably helpful. They even created a thoughtful guide for us with recommendations about the area, which made planning our trip so much easier. On top of that, they offered us the option to check in early at a very reasonable price, which we really appreciated after traveling.Honestly, my words can’t even begin to describe how awesome this place was. Between the stunning home, the incredible views, and the wonderful hospitality, it was truly the perfect spot for our trip. We will absolutely try to book this house again in the future—it exceeded every single expectation.

We love the house and the location! It's perfect for large groups. There is plenty of space for everyone to enjoy. Downtown Asheville is a quick drive away. The property owners gave lots of suggestions for places to eat and things to do close by. The biscuits at Moose Cafe were AMAZING! I also appreciated the information given about the house. Wish I could give this house 10 stars!
